Meet the adorable Miss Hadlee!!
Hadlee is baby #4 to my dear sweet friend, Shyanne. I know Shyanne from my MOPS days when she was pregnant with her 2nd!
I was only in town for the weekend and had a wedding I was helping with, but I wanted to make sure that we got in a session. I'm so glad we made it work! See, the Holiks have recently been given the news that is every mother's worst nightmare. Sweet little Hadlee has brain cancer. They have had to temporarily move up to Dallas for treatments for her, their world turned upside down. My heart is beyond broken for them, but I'm praying prayers of faith on their behalf.
She's a smart little girl, crawling at only 6 months!
Please keep this amazing family and sweet little Hadlee in your prayers. I know this journey's going to be hard, but we serve a big God and I'm believing for a miracle.
Happy 1st birthday, Nolan!!
Nolan didn't really like staying in one spot.
He was a tiny baby, born a few weeks early, but man, has he grown!!
It was a chilly rainy morning, so what do you do? Bring an umbrella!!
The Searsy Family's mini session!!
Lilly and Maddy are expecting a baby brother this fall. I bet they're going to be big helpers.
Congratulations, Searsy!!
My family and I finally made a trip to Phoenix, AZ to see my best friend and her family a few weeks ago. Amanda has been my number one fan from the beginning and believed in me before I believed in myself. While we were there, we made sure to get her some family photos.
Kora is about a year younger than my oldest, but a few inches taller. I knew her since she was in her momma's belly.
Alyse is a little quiet, but once you get her talking, she has lots to say.
Oh Bella! She's such a hoot!
And then there's my pal, A.J.. He's just a few months younger than my youngest. They became fast friends.
Adam was so patient and helped us find this amazing location!!
We had such an awesome time in Phoenix, but going through these photos is making me miss them so much!! Thank you for such a great time, Hrybs!!
My sister and her family!!!
As a Texas gal, I was quite shocked when the snow from our blizzard stayed on the ground so long. We had a few warmer days, but STILL that snow would not melt completely. This was a few weeks after the snowpocalyse!
A family session for the Morris was a MUST, snow or not. Allister left a few days after their session to start his new job in NorTh CaROLinA. What? Yep, my sister's family is leaving the Hub city for the scenery in the east. Can't say I blame them.
Isaac is just a few weeks younger than my oldest. He's got the cool man genes and rarely is seen without a hat. My boys LOVE having him over.
Zion has never known a stranger. I'm pretty sure she'll make friends quickly after their move. Heck, we can't go to the grocery store without her making a friend.
It wasn't much after this session that Elijah got his braces off. I might need to take him out for a little mini session to show off his new pearly whites.
Anybody got a clue what kind of tree sheds tennis balls? I'm going to try to talk Malachi into coming back to Tech when he finishes school. We've got plenty of room, kid!
Believe it or not, it's sometimes harder to get teens to smile for photos. And I'm not naming any names, but it's so nice when someone lets out a huge fart and makes everyone giggle.
Wish you guys all the best on your new adventure. We're going to miss you like CRAZY!!!
I just love these ladies. I've been photographing these girls for several years now, and I always look forward to seeing how much prettier they've gotten each year. Shelbi, Alli, and their mother, Jill.
Recognize all those boots? Well, of course, it's the Williams family! I think Jaymie has a tradition of getting a boot shot photo on all her Christmas cards.
Oh my darling, Shyne, well, her name says it all.
I think Aryna is taller than me, now. And she's 11!!
And my boys, of course, adore Wyatt. Such a man's man. He told me he has 3 girlfriends.
My sweet Bayzi is growing so fast. I can't wait to post her 1 year photos!
They are one of my favorite families from my home town!! I'm so honored to get to photograph them.
Going through these photos made me smile, but now I'm missing my friend. Expect lots of text this week, Jaymie!!
Meet this absolutely darling family, the Garys!
Four precious boys and one adorable girl - I think it's safe to say that Heather's one busy lady.
Another weekend of mini sessions back in my home town of San Angelo, Texas. These guys especially make me feel at home since they were my old next door neighbors.
The Purcell Family:
We miss you guys!!
This was my last session on this trip to San Angelo. With all the crazy rain all weekend, we decided to delay this session until Sunday morning. There was lots of mud to watch out for, but the sun was gorgeous. Oh, how I had missed the sun!
Kylie is expecting boy #2 any day now!
Jonah's going to love having a little brother!
An extended family session!! These are always a blast. It's like being invited to someone else's family reunion. Meet the Bryants, the Bryants, and the Yarbroughs!
It all started with these three...
I meet the Bryants over a year ago when I did Leah's maternity session when she was pregnant with Carson. They're the sweetest little family. I can't believe how big Carson is getting!
Last summer, I met Tanner's sister, Kelsey when she was pregnant. Then little Zane came along and I got to do his newborn session, too. He is such a pretty baby.
Payton is super shy, but every once in a while, I can catch a smile out of her. I LOVE those curls!
Ariel just graduated from Texas Tech and we did her senior photos just a few months ago.
I loved that I finally got to see the whole family together.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh GIRL!!!
To celebrate her 5th pregnancy, Autumn's family and I went out to do family portraits. Autumn is the proud mother of 4 handsome boys with little baby girl on her way.
Not but a week or 2 after we took these photos, baby Acapella made her arrival.
Congratulations to your family, Autumn!
Rain, rain!! That didn't scare the Bellemares! Off to Fort Concho, we go!
Don't Jaci and Jim have the most beautiful children?
Oh, Miss Lily! You're giving me the best smile!
Through all the rain predictions in San Angelo on my weekend of minis, this morning had no rain, but STRONG COLD wind. I love this old building and it worked great to block the wind.
I love their purple and gray colors. They did such a great job coordinating their outfits. I think we should "pin" these under what to wear to a family session.
Meet the Bordens!! Don't they have the prettiest little ladies in their family?
Around here in Texas Tech territory, red and black are a staple and this family pulls it off fabulously!
Yes, those clouds are real, folks. But that didn't stop us from getting the Hazard family portrait session in. To Fort Concho it is!
Isn't George just a doll!
Ella had a little game that she played. She'd only give me serious looks when I had the camera out, but as soon as I put it away, she'd start giggling. She didn't know that the serious looks are my favorite anyway.
But we managed to get a couple smiles out of her!
Another mini family session from San Angelo, another evening with HIGH rain predictions. Ended up being a beautiful evening, sun and all. Yay!!
This little man is such a little model. He told his mom to move out of the way so I could take his picture. So cute!!
Can't forget Nanna!
Welcome to our Christmas Pajama Party with the Jordan kids!!
No Christmas party's complete without some cookies and milk.
This photo took a little Christmas magic to come together (when I say magic, I mean photoshop). Everyone smiled for me, just not at the same time. But I was determined to get them all smiling in a photo, so Photoshop and my mad skills to the rescue.
Merry Christmas, Jordans!!
The Wittes!! I absolutely LOVE this family. Kyle and Kelan remind me SO much of my boys. They are always ready to party - just the way my boys are. So fun!
Since the time our family had moved to Lubbock, the Witte family moved from San Angelo, but in opposite direction. We both travelled across Texas to meet in San Angelo for their mini session. I think we both could have used a paddle boat to get there with all that rain across Texas that weekend. We were going to meet at the Fort under the porches, but I noticed this building across the street with a covering so we drove over there instead. I LOVE the way it turned out! Cold and rainy, but we got it done.
They just crack me up!
Love and miss you guys!!
