What to Expect . .

When to book your newborn session:

         The best time to photograph a newborn is when they are 5 - 11 days old. At 14 days, they tend to "wake up" and it's harder to get those nice sleepy photos. You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy, and I'll add your due date to my calendar. When you arrive home from the hospital with your new baby, you can contact me again and we'll set a suitable time and day for your session.

Where the sessions are held:

     Newborn session will take place at my home studio in Lubbock, Texas. Family sessions will be at a location of your choice.

What to expect at the session:

    Newborn session take about 2-4 hours to allow time for feeding and settling the baby. You do not have to bring any props or clothing for your new little one. There are several bonnets, wraps, tie backs, etc., that will be available in the studio for you to choose from. All you need is your usual diaper bag essentials: diapers, wipes, pacifier, etc.
