Roten Boys ~Lubbock, Texas Children's Photographer~

I was pretty excited to meet up with these two guys again. Riley's my buddy and I hadn't seen Maddox since I did his newborn photos!

Maddox is such a smiley little boy.

So I might be a little behind on blogging. This was obviously taken before Christmas.

But I couldn't leave this one out! I told you, you'd love being a big brother, Riley!

Williams Family ~West Texas Family Photographer~

Recognize all those boots? Well, of course, it's the Williams family! I think Jaymie has a tradition of getting a boot shot photo on all her Christmas cards.

Oh my darling, Shyne, well, her name says it all.

I think Aryna is taller than me, now. And she's 11!!

And my boys, of course, adore Wyatt. Such a man's man. He told me he has 3 girlfriends.

My sweet Bayzi is growing so fast. I can't wait to post her 1 year photos!

They are one of my favorite families from my home town!! I'm so honored to get to photograph them.

Going through these photos made me smile, but now I'm missing my friend. Expect lots of text this week, Jaymie!!

Colt ~West Texas Children's Photographer~

A little man running around a cotton field, not much that beats that! Meet the 19 month old Colt!

I had a hard time photographing this little guy because every time I'd run back far enough to get his picture, he'd start chasing me. Lol! I think he liked me too much! What can I say, I have a way with little boys.

I'm totally stoked that his parents brought this little tractor to the shoot!

Wake ~Lubbock, Texas Newborn Baby Photography~

Little man Wake! Isn't he a doll all bundled up in his papoose?

A couple weeks before Chelsi's due date, she came over and I made a belly cast of her growing belly. I've been wanting to use a maternity cast as a prop for a newborn session for a while, so I was WAY pumped about it. I LOVE the way baby Wake perfectly fits in his momma's belly cast.

He peed a couple times while in the prop, but not a drop got on him or the cast. Boys!

Dad is a coach at a private school here in Lubbock, so we thought it was fitting to have a photo of him, baby Wake, and a football, of course.

Dad was a bit nervous about holding Wake without a diaper on, but mom was the one who got hit. She was totally cool about it, though. They're going to do great with this little baby boy!

Can't get enough of his little squishy face!

Those lips!!

Reese ~Lubbock, Texas Newborn Photographer~

Meet Baby Reese!!! I have so many favorites from the session. I just had to share them all.

So many favorites, I decided to use her session to make one of my sample albums. Make sure you ask to see it when you're in the studio. It's so pretty!!

Mom said she has a little light pink in her nursery. I can't resist creating images that will perfectly match a baby's room.

Right before we got these images of Reese on the white blanket, she pooped all over it, then settled into this perfect sleep. I decided moving her was not an option. So in the original images, there's a lovely trail of yellow under her. Thank you Photoshop!

Cousins!! I love these smiles!

Collins Family ~West Texas Family Photographer~

This was my last session on this trip to San Angelo. With all the crazy rain all weekend, we decided to delay this session until Sunday morning. There was lots of mud to watch out for, but the sun was gorgeous. Oh, how I had missed the sun!

Kylie is expecting boy #2 any day now!

Jonah's going to love having a little brother!

Bryant Family ~Lubbock, Texas Family Photographer~

An extended family session!! These are always a blast. It's like being invited to someone else's family reunion. Meet the Bryants, the Bryants, and the Yarbroughs!

It all started with these three...

I meet the Bryants over a year ago when I did Leah's maternity session when she was pregnant with Carson.  They're the sweetest little family. I can't believe how big Carson is getting!

Last summer, I met Tanner's sister, Kelsey when she was pregnant. Then little Zane came along and I got to do his newborn session, too. He is such a pretty baby.

Payton is super shy, but every once in a while, I can catch a smile out of her. I LOVE those curls!

Ariel just graduated from Texas Tech and we did her senior photos just a few months ago.

I loved that I finally got to see the whole family together.

Autumn's Maternity ~Lubbock, Texas Maternity Photography~

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh GIRL!!!

To celebrate her 5th pregnancy, Autumn's family and I went out to do family portraits. Autumn is the proud mother of 4 handsome boys with little baby girl on her way.

Not but a week or 2 after we took these photos, baby Acapella made her arrival.

Congratulations to your family, Autumn!

Jordan ~Lubbock, Texas Senior Photographer~

I had been wanting to try out some spots right outside Lubbock for a session and Jordan, a 2016 senior, was just brave enough to venture with me. AND she drove. That's always a bonus.

She totally rocked this pose. Not everyone can pull this one off.

Jordan is a homeschooler here in Lubbock and already has been accepted to Baylor University which she's planning on attending next fall. She has some huge ambitions and I don't doubt one bit that she'll achieve them all.

Jordan is a lover of photography, too, but like myself, isn't totally used to be on the other side of the camera. But she did great, a complete natural!

Congratulations, Jordan!!

Lacey ~Lubbock, Texas Newborn Photographer~

Every once in a while I'll catch a baby a just the right second and get their sweet dreamy smile. Little Miss Lacey gave me this awesome shot. How can you look at that without smiling?

I love her little fingers, even with the broken nail. Those little nails are so hard to clip. It brings back memories of my babies.

McNeal Family ~West Texas Family Photographer~

Through all the rain predictions in San Angelo on my weekend of minis, this morning had no rain, but STRONG COLD wind. I love this old building and it worked great to block the wind.

I love their purple and gray colors. They did such a great job coordinating their outfits. I think we should "pin" these under what to wear to a family session.

Hazards ~West Texas Family Photographer~

Yes, those clouds are real, folks. But that didn't stop us from getting the Hazard family portrait session in. To Fort Concho it is!

Isn't George just a doll!

Ella had a little game that she played. She'd only give me serious looks when I had the camera out, but as soon as I put it away, she'd start giggling. She didn't know that the serious looks are my favorite anyway.

But we managed to get a couple smiles out of her!

Delanie ~Lubbock, Texas Newborn Photographer~

I couldn't let Christmas get by without sharing Miss Delanie's darling Santa baby photos!! Thank you to whoever made this Santa hat. It totally made my day.

Delanie did NOT want to fall asleep. I have no idea how she stayed awake for so long. We tried everything to get this sweet baby to sleep.

I do love the awake photos, but I didn't want mom to only have awake newborn photos. We HAD to get that Santa photo. (I'm a very determined and patient woman. Did I mention determined?).

Big brother even held out for a few minutes to get a shot. That's not easy when you're 2!

I got this scarf at a white elephant Christmas party a few days before the shoot. Some people see a scarf, I see a newborn wrap!

This luggage is Delanie's great grandmother's. She still uses it!

Jason Turns One ~Lubbock, Texas Children Photographer~

Let me introduce you to this cutie pie, Mr. Jason who just recently had his first birthday!!

For Jason's one year photo session, his family and I met up at the one the parks here in Lubbock. I'm so glad his whole family were able to come. It's great to be able to squeeze in some family portraits, too.

Let me tell you, Jason is one serious little fella'.

But I did get a little smile out of him.

I can't resist the crying photos! Mom ran to the car to get some wipes and he was not happy about her leaving.
