Bekah had already been accepted into LCU, so we thought it'd be fun to some of her session at her new campus.
She had the brilliant idea of doing some of her session with a Volkswagon van in a cotton field! SOO much fun!!

After Abby's senior session, I was so excited to see the photos that I couldn't even wait until I got home! I sat in my van in the Market Street parking lot scrolling through the images on my camera. No lie. And you can totally see why!

I found someone willing to do photos with me in the snow! Meet my handsome nephew, Malachi, a 2016 senior!
We did Malachi's senior photos about 5 days after the notorious Lubbock Blizzard that blew in a couple days after Christmas. There was so much snow that for those of us without 4 wheel drive, we were pretty much trapped at home. Lucky for me, Malachi came to pick me up.
When I suggested we do a snow session, I did NOT tell him to dress in short sleeves. I believe my exact words were, "a beanie and a nice jacket." He brought neither. But being the awesome aunt that I am, I did let him use my jacket when we were walking around.
For those of my generation, bleach washed jeans are now back in style, but if you try to create them yourself, you might need duct tape.
Watch out, ladies!
I had been wanting to try out some spots right outside Lubbock for a session and Jordan, a 2016 senior, was just brave enough to venture with me. AND she drove. That's always a bonus.
She totally rocked this pose. Not everyone can pull this one off.
Jordan is a homeschooler here in Lubbock and already has been accepted to Baylor University which she's planning on attending next fall. She has some huge ambitions and I don't doubt one bit that she'll achieve them all.
Jordan is a lover of photography, too, but like myself, isn't totally used to be on the other side of the camera. But she did great, a complete natural!

I started photographing the Bryant family last year in San Angelo when little Carson was born. This year, I got to meet his aunt, uncle, and cousins from Amarillo, and now, finally, I got to meet his other aunt and uncle right here in Lubbock. Aunt Ariel is graduating from Texas Tech with her teaching certification!
We decided to do Valerie's senior session at Tech to celebrate her upcoming graduation. What we didn't know was there was a parade at Tech that night. So we hope over a few blocks away from the college crowds to a little spot downtown Lubbock.
It was a pretty cloudy that night, but the sun peeked out for just a few minutes to cast this gorgeous light on her red hair.
I promise I don't have any rules about being a gorgeous tall red head in order for me to do a senior session. But maybe I should!! ;)
Her cute little puppy, Woodrow came along for a few shots, too.
