Reese is back for her 6 month session!!
I first met Reese was she was a little tiny baby. She was just as beautiful then, too.
Emily celebrates her first birthday!!
I got to photograph this beautiful girl a year ago when she was a new baby. This is still one of my favorite mother/baby photos.
This girl is fast - I did a lot of crawling, too.
Planning a session in Lubbock in the spring turns out to not be the easiest thing. We had to cancel several times due to weather: cRAzy wind, rain, lightening. But YAY, we finally found a day when the weather decided to cooperate.
Meet Jack and Sam . . .
It was a lot of back and forth hoping to get both boys happy at the same time. First the darling Jack . . .
Then, sweet little Sam. . .
Finally, after several hours, we got both boys to sleep at the same time..
I shot this photo about 20 seconds before, mom and dad holding them in place. Less than a minute and they were awake again. It was all I needed.
Sam's thinking of a funny joke, I think.
The precious beginnings of this new family.
Acapella is 6 months old and back for a mini session. She is just as cute as ever!
She's got lots of smiles, especially when her mom and I are making fools of ourselves. Haha.
Isn't this just about the sweetest family photo you've seen? Everyone's smiling, even little Beau.
When dad's a ball player, you've got to have a photo with a baseball. Just adorable!
Beau slept like a dream!!
With first birthday sessions, there's lots of option with props, cakes, banners, fancy dresses, but Eden's mom decided she wanted it simple: white dress and a floral wreath. OMG!! How I LOVE how this turned out. So classy and beautiful!
Look who's home!!
Hollis was born at 29 weeks and spent the first 3 months of her life in the NICU. To keep all germs away, her big brothers didn't get to meet her until mom was able to bring her home Mother's Day weekend. The boys had no idea the surprise Mom had waiting for them.
First time holding baby sister...
I love how big brother covers little brother's mouth when he starts coughing...
Later that week, Mom brought Hollis over for some newborn photos.
I adore those blonde eyelashes.
Meet the adorable Miss Hadlee!!
Hadlee is baby #4 to my dear sweet friend, Shyanne. I know Shyanne from my MOPS days when she was pregnant with her 2nd!
I was only in town for the weekend and had a wedding I was helping with, but I wanted to make sure that we got in a session. I'm so glad we made it work! See, the Holiks have recently been given the news that is every mother's worst nightmare. Sweet little Hadlee has brain cancer. They have had to temporarily move up to Dallas for treatments for her, their world turned upside down. My heart is beyond broken for them, but I'm praying prayers of faith on their behalf.
She's a smart little girl, crawling at only 6 months!
Please keep this amazing family and sweet little Hadlee in your prayers. I know this journey's going to be hard, but we serve a big God and I'm believing for a miracle.
Easton must have most adorable squishy face of all time. Don't you just want to kiss him?
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!! Easton's lucky enough to have 2 older brothers to teach him all about boy stuff.
Easton LOVES his swaddle.
Maddox is celebrating his first birthday!!
It's so fun to compare their newborn photos to their 1st birthday photos.
Maddox has got to be the happiest baby ever!! He smiled the entire session.
What a cuties!!
Big brother, Riley was full of smiles, too. I love photographing this family.
Little Miss Ava, 13 days new...
Happy 1st birthday, Nolan!!
Nolan didn't really like staying in one spot.
He was a tiny baby, born a few weeks early, but man, has he grown!!
It was a chilly rainy morning, so what do you do? Bring an umbrella!!
Congratulations to Texas Tech graduate, Brandon Jaramillo!!
Lilly did such a great with her new little sister, Blakely! She was very curious as to everything, asking a lot of questions. It was fun having her around. And y'all, don't be shocked, but I'm LOVING these whites and off white.
Since the weather has been warming up, we decided to do their family photos in my backyard. I may have to do this more often.
This gorgeous lady is a senior!! Meet Jasmine . . .
For Jasmine's senior session, we went out to Christoval's Bed and Breakfast. It's like a little piece of heaven out there.
Jasmine brought her boyfriend who was the sweetest guy ever. I didn't realize it during the session, but it turns out, I know his parents from a LONG time ago. I think Jasmine has picked herself a good one.
And I, the now Lubbockite, went a little nuts when I saw this patch of bluebonnets. They don't grow around here, and I miss seeing them in the spring.
Congratulations, Jasmine!!
The Searsy Family's mini session!!
Lilly and Maddy are expecting a baby brother this fall. I bet they're going to be big helpers.
Congratulations, Searsy!!
Meet Miss Lillian!!
Aren't those lips delicious?
And those eyelashes!!!
Sweet little Penelope is turning one year old!!!
Here's one from her newborn session. I love to seeing how much they've changed that first year.
I absolutely adore the Walden family and couldn't be more thrilled that they are expecting another baby girl in just a few months.
We had a lot planned for the session, but when there's an 18 month involved, plans tend to go out the window.
BUT like the unplanned moments the most.
